Summary: Dr Jean-Francois Rey participated as faculty at the recent Portuguese Society of Digestive Endoscopy Symposium in Lisbon, Portugal. He spoke in a session entitled QUALITY COST/BENEFIT IN DIGESTIVE ENDOSCOPY. Dr Rey informed participants of the particular situation in Europe in relation to the costs and benefits of performing endoscopies. He continues to work hard ensuring that OMED meets its goal of the worldwide promotion of the study and advancement of digestive endoscopy for diagnosis and treatment of GI diseases.
